Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The tool asks six things: your birthdate and gender, your health level in plain language, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you're looking for, and what term you want. That's all we need to get you rates. Sharing your name, address and detailed health comes only if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They're the rates each company quoted for your chosen health category. What you pay ultimately depends on what the carrier learns during underwriting, which might confirm, upgrade or change your tier. This website doesn't guarantee any price; it's for information only, not insurance.

What happens when I click Apply?

You'll enter your name and the quote you want to proceed with, and the secure application launches with your earlier answers already filled in. You're welcome to stop and pick it back up; signing happens electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), handles the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies based on the company, the amount you're after, and your health history. A lot of carriers now skip the exam for qualified candidates—check what each quote says about exam requirements, possibilities, or no exam needed.

Is a longer term better?

The term should bridge the period when losing your income would hit hardest: a mortgage payment, kids at home, a company obligation. Longer terms hold your rate longer but cost more monthly. The quote tool lets you run 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years to weigh the difference.

Does this site sell my information?

No. Your quotes don't need personal details, we don't market or share what you provide, and our tracking is cookieless. Head to privacy policy for specifics about what gets collected and who sees it.
